What happens at the first Midwife appointment... (UK)

Hey everyone... I have my first midwife appointment tomorrow - I will be 9 + 6. 
I was wondering will they do any checks on the baby tomorrow (maybe check for the heartbeat) or is it all questions for me?

I'm in canada but my midwife appt tried to find the heartbeat (she couldnt, too early) and we did history. Asked questions. Got lab reqs and booked an ultrasound.

I had mine this afternoon at 10+2. It’s all questions about yourself and your partner and the midwife will give you some information on various things and answer any questions you have. I had blood taken, a wee sample, blood pressure and height and weight. Mine lasted about 40 mins 🙂

The booking appointment is all about you and your medical history and your partners medical history. You won’t hear the heartbeat I don’t think. I didn’t till over 20 weeks with my first.
