In my opinion it is, people have the tendency of prolonging the “talking stage” to not get emotionally invested in a relationship. Which at the end of the day you are since it’s been a year so you are investing 365 days of your life on “queue”. I personally feel that you should decide what you want to do first instead of giving attention and flirting with someone else. If some is talking to me and flirting with someone else then I would tell them to keep it moving with whoever they are flirting because I’m no body’s option but a priority. So, I think you need to clear out whether or not you are in a relationship with this person or not before you start talking or flitting with someone else.
