First midwife appointment UK

Hi lovelies, please would someone be able to give me a bit of a run down as to what happens at your first midwife appointment? This is my first pregnancy and I’m clueless. I’m 9 weeks today and my appointment is on Thursday.

I’ve read on the NHS site etc so I know you go through medical history etc, but do they take any bloods or anything else? Do you just get a date for your firs scan at 12 weeks following this?

I’ve hit 9 weeks absolutely symptomless and my stomach feels flatter than ever, so I’ve spent the last two months anxious as hell getting worked up (stupid I know). Would I be able to discuss this with her? I just feel a bit stupid.
