Is Cambridge to London too far for a relationship?

I’m thinking of moving to Cambridge but it’s a small town and I’m worried it’s going to be impossible to find someone to date there?

London has 6 million people so I thought there’s more of a chance to find someone? Its 45 mins on the train from Cambridge to London, if I met someone in London would that be too far for a relationship??

I lived in London before and my boyfriend did too but it was a 1 hour tube journey cause opposite ends of the city, I feel like 45 mins is okay??
