How do I know he’s completely over his ex?

They broke up around this time last year and they were together for 5 years.
He was showing me a video on his phone when his ex’s brother dmed him. I noticed that he kinda tensed a little, but I had to pretend I didn’t because he never told me about the guy. (I did some stalking that’s why I know it’s his ex’s brother 🤡)
They still call each other “bro”, but I guess it’s normal for guys.
I know it’s petty and I need to get over it. But I want to hear it from y’all that I’m petty 🤡🤡🤡

Him chatting with her brother doesn’t mean he’s not over his ex. Sounds like they developed a friendship and still talk from time to time. I wouldn’t worry about that too much

They are probably just friends it has no relevance whether he is over his ex it just so happens to be the brother.
You just have to trust that he had moved on.
He might have tensed because of the content of the video

It’s called TRUST. Do you trust him? Or not? If you do, then you will have faith in him that he’s over his ex. If you don’t, then you’ll question it. So I would try to figure out why you are not trusting this man. He is allowed to have a friendship with his ex’s brother and it doesn’t mean he still has feelings for his ex.
