Communicating with your other half

How often do you speak with your other half if you guys don't live together?

I was over my boyfriend's house last weekend, I came home the Monday texted to say I'm home and then I was like well know he likes space so I didn't want be annoying or anything. We normally snapchat everyday but I haven't spoken to him over the phone since I left on the Monday n now we are in a brand new week. Didn't hear from him over the weekend. I called him no answers and I know he sees the miss calls so I don't know what's going on. The lack of communication is annoying and really starting to bother me. Does anyone else get this??
