Anyone ever bought a life vac or dechoker?

I've seen advertisements for them on Facebook, they are for when your baby or child chokes and the heimlich is ineffective. Both me and my husband are pretty terrified of our baby choking, we have started with purees to be in the safe side. But eventually he will start he eating regular solids. I am thinking of investing in one of these two devices, has anyone ever bought one?

I’ve honestly never heard of either of them, but whether you get one or not, it’s a good idea to get CPR/First Aid certified.  They teach you what to do when someone is choking & it’s different depending on if they are under one or over one.  It could give you extra peace of mind.

I bought a life vac a couple years ago. I haven’t had to use it and I hope I never do but it’s great peace of mind. I make a point of hauling it everywhere my kids go which gets annoying since I bought the standard size, but I wasn’t about to buy something that expensive and not have it on hand at all times.

I’m just reading up on them a little bit it says it isn’t suitable for a child less than 40lbs. Is this just the model I’m looking at, is there a specific one for infants?
