Any marriage advice? Engagement advice?

Hi there! My guy just proposed to me on Valentine’s Day and although I’m super happy and excited, I’m worried that I still need time to get my life together to become married. Is there any marriage or engagement or just relationship advice you could bestow on me?

Have a long engagement. Nothing wrong with waiting a year, two, three, five....whatever! If you’re planning on spending the rest of your life together anyway, there’s no rush.

It’s really a personal preference, but along with stable financials. My husband and I dated about a year and half. When we got married he just graduated from his Masters one week prior, and I am still in my Masters. Do we think we have our life’s figured out? Hell Naw. But I am willing to figure it out with him, and he is too. P.S we don’t have any financial problems, since our parents are helping us to get a house (full payment). To me, having a stable financial is helping the marriage, it is the last thing I wanna argue with him about. Lmao.
