Should I go see a gyno?

I lost my virginity December 2020 and that was the only time I had sex up until last night . Me and my partner were having sex and it hurt so bad , it felt like I was losing my virginity again . Did I wait too long to have sex again ? Or should I see a doctor ?

Honestly you're supposed to get your first pap smear after you have sex for the first time so I would just book an appointment for that and then talk to the doc. It sounds pretty normal though, its usually a bit sore down there the first few times you have sex.

It’s recommended to see a gyno when you become sexually active in general. However, you probably have nothing to worry about. Make sure you practice safe sex and use lube to make it more comfortable

Sounds pretty normal to me. I think it took me 3 or 4 times for the soreness to go away and then it wasn't an issue. Just keep your partner in the know and have them go slow if need be and it will get better once your body gets used to it. It's no different than working out any other muscle, it takes time before the pain isn't an issue, but it will stop hurting
