Others appreciation dinner on my Birthday

Where I work has summer volunteers so during their last week of work before they leave work does a fancy appreciation dinner for them which all staff are invited to. This year it happens to land on my birthday. I don’t want to not celebrate my birthday and I usually go and enjoy it. Although I’m afraid since most of my coworkers know my birthday they might sing happy birthday or have cake or something putting attention on me which would make me feel uncomfortable.
