Advice please on labour

Hello ladies I had my son via emergency c section 9 months ago I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant and have been told to think about my choices of labour.

My son was emergency c section at 37 weeks due to non progressive labour and my waters had broke before I was even 2cm dilated and his heart rate dropping dramatically.

They have given me a choice to go natural but think I may need another c section if labour is like my sons.

They have also offered me an elective c section my worry is if I decide c section what if I go into labour before my c section is scheduled my labour with my son was stopped at 35 weeks trying to keep him in a little longer.

They have said its a high chance I go into labour early or other complications due to falling pregnant so fast after a c section.

What do I do I need some advice and will they do a c section before 38 weeks? As my previous pregnancy was 37 weeks exact?
