Your favourite newborn must haves?

What was your essentials that you 100% used every single day that made a huge different in your home… HELP

I’m sure all these things people are commenting are really useful, but legit the only things I feel like I NEEDED were boobs, diapers, and wipes 😂
The safe spot to place baby down was the floor (on a blanket, which I already had)
I didn’t use nursing pillows, just regular pillows.
Our “changing station” was the floor/couch/bed
Our white noise was whatever noise was going on in the house
A sling is a nice thing to have though. We used that a fair bit. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m a minimalist

Burp cloths! Both my boys (almost 5 years old and 2 years old) were horribly refluxy. I had prefold cloth diapers for burp cloths. They are hands down the best burp cloths. They are big and absorbent. We had 30. And there were times they were all dirty. Granted, having 30 meant I didn't have to wash them every day.

Random brand - but a bassinet for the stroller.

-  changing station for living room (we had a pack and play that had a changing station attachment and used that downstairs)
- premake meals - seriously last thing you want to do is cook the first few weeks
- baby swing (we used this way more for our 2nd kid than we did our first though)
- sleep sacks (halo are awesome, our baby hated swaddle though and we used the swaddle up after the first month because she slept with hands above head)
- white noise machine
- if you end up using formula, the dr. Browns mixing pitcher is a life/time saver

This thing is my favorite!!!! No worrying of him wiggling out of his blanket and I don't have to completely unswaddle him to change his diapers at night. He will usually sleep right through diaper changes with this thing on.

- a nursing pillow (used also later for tummy time, pictures, lounge pillow, secure place on the floor- when the baby starts to crawl)

- a baby bath tub on a stand
- baby wrap
And except those- I really didn't need anything (yeah- clothes and diapers... 😉🤣🤣)

A baby bouncer chair - you’ll need to set baby somewhere periodically throughout the day, I got a cheap one from Walmart & it was probably the *most* used baby “thing” I had! 
Also, baby blankets, I went through about a trillion just for anything & everything. You can get great ones from second hand shops that are just as good as new! 
Don’t fuss much over clothes (unless it’s cold where you are & you go out often) 90% of all baby gifts that you’ll get will be clothes, but honestly, when they’re little it’s much easier to just keep them in a simple onesie & wrapped in blankets, plus they grow out of them SO fast !
Also, lots of bottles if you plan to give formula at all (even as a supplement) it’s so much easier to just toss them all in the dishwasher at the end of the day than constantly washing them!
