I’ve had clockwork periods that come on the day every month, and always light flow, up until this year. A few months ago they started coming a few days late or early, then in June they changed completely and came sometimes only days apart and extremely heavy, a complete turn around. I went to the doctor and she put me on birth control to level my hormones, it worked the first month, but now I’m on my second month and it’s come back the same, just had a period a week after my period. I did turn 40 this year, and have been getting hot flashes right before my periods for a couple of years, so for a minute I was thinking it was peri menopause, but my doctor asked me if I had recently had the vaccine as it’s been affecting some of her patients periods. I did have the vaccine in February, but I’m not sure if that’s too far away from when I was affected. I’m just wondering if anyone else has had their periods affected by the vaccine, and if so, when did it start? And if anyone has gone through perimenopause, did your period do such a complete and sudden turn around, even on birth control? Thank you
