Help!! Sex after a long period without

I have had sex once since finding out I was pregnant. My child is now 18 months old. I need advice !!! I feel like a Virgin all over again, I'm so nervous there's something wrong with me down there after giving birth to a 9.5lb baby and I feel like I'm out of practice. My son's father and I split up and now I am talking to someone else and know where it will eventually lead but I am so scared that down there is broken after having a baby and not having sex in nearly 2.5 years. Anyone go through a long period of abstinence or how they coped with sex after giving birth vaginally ?? I feel like an idiot but thanks in advance ladies for any advice or your own experiences!!!!
