Gift ideas for 4 and 6 year old girls?

I'm starting my Christmas shopping and I have no clue what to get my friend's kids (I don't have kids myself). My friend nor the girls will give me ideas or lists.
I'm wanting to stick to like $50 total. Maybe like individual gifts along with a gift they can enjoy together?

Magnatiles. My 4 year old loves them and a HS freshman was enthralled with them tonight. Craft kits. Play dough. Board games. Books.

My girls are 4 and 6! I got them toy instruments, theyre not expensive. They also like remote control cars (I got cool ones that flip on Amazon for $22 each), girly trucks, jewelry making kits, and small fluffy animal backpacks. Tons of inexpensive options.

My 6 year old loves just about anything. Craft kits, playdoh, kinetic sand, magna tiles, plushies, Hatchimals, Gabby dollhouse stuff, magic mixies, bubble bath soap, bath bombs, hair bows, cry babies…etc. 
Surprise mystery toys seem to be the biggest hit. Definitely do not get slime or water beads. And if you get paint or markers make sure they are washable. 
Do they like baking with a parent? You could get them aprons, cookie mix, and cookie cutters. Put it all in a stocking or colorful mixing bowl for each.
