Is 'Feeling some type of way' a saying?

I have never heard this before and suddenly it is popping up all over the place on GLO. When I read it I get confused at first and think 'which type of way? Happy, sad, angry,? You need to be more specific because I don't get what you are asking' but after seeing it a few times, it struck me that it could be a colloquialism. What does it mean exactly?

I think the meaning of it is dependent on the situation, which can make it hard to understand. I’d heard it used in the context “this new guy I’m talking to has me feeling some type of way 😉” and in the context “we got in an argument because he has me feeling some type of way 😡” and so on. I don’t believe it really has a set meaning.

Ive always used it as a neutral. Like I can’t decide how I’m feeling about it. Like I can’t put my finger on the exact emotion.

I use the term for when I’m feeling feelings about a situation that I havnt quite analyzed enough to understand what feelings they might be, I can feel them but maybe I just don’t know what exactly I’m feeling, it’s got me feeling some type of way… 👍 and I’ve use it both positively and negatively.  I don’t feel it’s all that new of a term though, at least not where im located..

It's just a saying that means youre bothered/aggravated/upset/perturbed etc, basically you feel negatively about it.
