Pregnancy after abnormal embryos?

Hello ladies,
I only had two eggs during my first egg retrieval so my doctor suggested doing double ovarian stimulation and got 5 more the second time. Sadly a few weeks later I found out that all 4 of my day-5 embryos were abnormal 💔😢 to say I was devastated is an understatement as I had such high hopes and I’m 42 years old. 
I’m starting DHEA which my doctor never suggested before, I’m also on prenatal vitamins. 
I was wondering if you or anyone you know has managed to get normal embryos during their second ivf attempt? Or even gotten pregnant naturally? 🙏🏻 we’re both super healthy and I never imagined that getting pregnant would be such a heart wrenching journey 💔

Our first round resulted in zero embryos after 5 eggs were retrieved.  Our 2nd round resulted in 1 normal embryo (she is now 18mo old!) after 8 were retrieved and 4 made it to embryo stage.  Our 3rd round resulted in 1 normal embryo (I am now 19 weeks pregnant) after 12 were retrieved and 5 made it to the embryo stage.  Wishing you good luck!

I’m so sorry. In the spring, I did my first egg retrieval and got 6 embryos but unfortunately they were all abnormal, too. I was devastated but knew it would be harder due to my age. I am also in my early 40s. I talked over it with my husband and we decided to give it another go. The second time, we got 2 embryos, but only one was healthy. We were so happy for that one and are now 5 weeks pregnant. I say don’t give up and try one more time if you can.
