Mom's of boys - what age did you stop getting dressed in front of them and enforce privacy for yourself?

My toddler follows me everywhere so when I get dressed for the day, he's there. He mostly plays and does other things but I'm wondering at what age it's no longer appropriate to change in front of him and to enforce privacy boundaries for myself.

When your child is old enough to understand their need for privacy, they will start to distance themselves from watching you change or being in the same room.
Honestly, I don't think theres any age in which is super strange, the human body is normal, it grew and birthed him. Eventually, he'll grow into needing privacy.

Only when they ask not to see that. When they start to feel uncomfortable in that situation. It may never happen but typically around 8-9 they start wanting their own privacy.
There is no specific age. We are humans and have bodies.

I will stop when they ask me to. I have started to ask them to leave me alone when I use the toilet. Works about 50/50 with my 3year old, my 5year old gets it.

My son is 6 and I still get dressed in front of him. He still showers with me sometimes. He understands what privacy is but he is still comfortable showering and dressing with me.

It's inappropriate when he feels embarrassed that you're changing in front of him imo.
A toddler is curious. Bodies look different. Teach them that bodies are different. It won't hurt them.

My son is 3.5 and I still change in front of him and he showers with me sometimes. That will stop once he becomes uncomfortable

The rule for my family growing up was if you choose to follow mom to her room/bathroom, or walk in unannounced, you might see her getting changed. I as adult will still be in the room while she’s changing, she does it slyly and not like titties out for everyone to see but she’s still changing lol. But my brother chooses not to do that, and knocks before walking in.
I now only have a year old daughter so I haven’t really even starting thinking about it yet, but I think I’ll have the same rule. I won’t walk around the house naked, but my room and bathroom is fair game. My husband has choose not to let her see him naked since pretty much day one, maybe a quick rinse off in the shower if we are running late but he would be comfortable bathing with her or anything. Which is fair, she is pretty curious about body parts lol

I found when my boys hit 3 yrs old they started noticing and was asking questions. My 5 yr old gives me privacy, my 4 yr old has autism and doesn’t fully understand so I do not change at all unless his dad is home to distract him. I say age 3+ (depending on how curious your child is).
