Successful VBAC stories after emergency c section?

My beautiful baby boy is 3 months old on Thursday and he was born via emergency c section. My membranes ruptured with no real signs of labour on his due date so I was medically induced the next day and I laboured for 14 hours with no pain relief.

I didn’t progress and I only dilated 3cm and his heart rate was very raised so they recommended an emergency c section which I agreed to.

I ended up getting sepsis and the recovery and postpartum period was really rough. I couldn’t breastfeed (which is something I’ve always wanted to do) due to the trauma.

I’ve always wanted to be a mum of 2 and I’d love to have another but I don’t know if I could go through it again and wondered if anyone had a successful VBAC after a similar experience to mind.

Obviously I wouldn’t even think of getting pregnant for another year or so
