Is it ok to go to sleep after my 2 year old threw up?

My daughter rarely ever gets sick so I haven’t really had to deal with this. I think just once she vomited at night and I ended up staying up all night watching her. Do I actually need to do that or can I go to bed? It’s currently nearly 1am so answers would be good 🤣 she got sick about an hour ago and has been lying happily in her bed since, but she is awake. She has had a cough for a few days that I think was the reason for the vomiting. I’m just scared that she could choke on vomit in her sleep if it happens again
