SO pecks his mates

This is a serious genuine question is does anyone else's SO kiss (peck) his mates lips? I went out New Years with him and his mates would jokingly kiss each other (they all do it) not just my SO they all come up to each other and say their having a bromance! My SO is not bothered by it and plays along and I just think it's strange..anyone else in the same boat?
