Walking up and down stairs to help bring labour on?

I’ve heard walking up and down your stairs can help bring labour on? Did anyone do this? What’s your experiences please? 
I want to have a long walk but finding it hard to be able to get out at the moment

I tried every trick in the book (aside from Castor oil, I would never) for both of mine.  Nothing worked and I ended up being induced with both 😕

I have heard it has helped certain women go into labour but for me nothing brings labour on no matter what i try. Had my second child september and nothing I did worked, it didn't with my first either. You may be one of the lucky ones. Give it a try if you can manage it it may work for you. Sorry i am not of much use.
