dating short guys?

any opinions on dating a short guy? I know a lot of women wouldn’t prefer it. if a guy is at least my height I can make it work. but if i’m taller than him i’m not sure because it just feels so weird standing next to a man I date that’s shorter than me and I don’t want to sound ridiculous 😩 what’s your thoughts on it? I am 5’4 so i’m pretty short myself

I'm 5 ft 9, my husband is 5 ft 3. It's never been an issue for us 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know all the jokes and I can say they are just that: jokes. Literally zero effect on anything. He's just shorter than me. But also he gets booby hugs and he's totally fine with that. I can, and sometimes do, wear 6 inch heels and that doesn't bother him in the slightest. He loves it. I'd have missed out on the perfect guy for me if I went "yea you're too short." Can't control your height 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t think I could date someone shorter then me, which I feel is so harsh to say but I just wouldn’t feel secure with the guy if he was smaller then me lol.

I dated guys of all different looks....bald, overweight, skinny, different races, grey hair, rich or poor etc. But Ive never been attracted to a guy who is smaller/shorter than me. Ive had guys pass me up because theyre not attracted to something about me either. Thats life. People can have preferences, as long as it isnt ridiculous and nitpicky, or youre very superficial and looking for a Perfect 10 or hes not good enough for you, we are humans and can have preferences. I dont think it's weird when I see couples with a shorter man, but it just isnt for me, and no I dont consider myself shallow.

I'm taller and shrunk over the years lol but dating I dated men shorter than myself. I wouldn't have limited myself from a quality person. I dated guys 6'4-5'5 to me height wasn't an issue and never was to men. Btw my grandpa was short 5'4 and my grandma was 6'1 lol he joking told me while he was drinking a bear once, "once you lay a woman down they are all the same height." Coming from an old man it always made me laugh and made me see that it isn't a big deal to date short men.

I’d rather date someone close to my height. Tall people freak me out and I don’t like being literally looked down on. I’m 5’8 and my husband is 5’10. When we go out and I wear heels I’m taller than him and it doesn’t bother either of us. Anything over 6ft would be too tall for me.

I haven’t ran into the issue of liking someone who is shorter than me. I’m 5’3” so pretty much every guy I’ve been interested in has been at least my height. I wouldn’t write a guy off just because he’s shorter than me. I try to focus on the personality more than anything, but if you aren’t attracted because he’s shorter than you, then that’s your prerogative.

I would never pass over a good man just because I might be taller. You really start to loose a lot of good men the more things you decide are a deal breaker. Height for me anyway is not one of those… I’m also 33 so I’m over the whole trying to make sure he looks good. I want someone with a good ass soul. Those things are way more important. And besides, yall the same height in bed. 😂
