Sex probs?

Every time my boyfriend and I have sex or he fingers me I get a small UTI. Does this happen to anyone else? & how to fix it??

UTI's are caused by bacteria in the urethra (peehole) .. I would suggest having him wash his hands. That's might help. But also remember to always go pee after sex or foreplay it will help protect against UTI. Since urine is sterile it will and should clean out your urethra. So pee after sex and foreplay.. You could also try drinking cranberry juice

Yes this is typically an issue that comes up with foreign bacteria (maybe your body is getting used to it too). Peeing right after sex prevents the issue for the most part, however if it keeps happening I would consult your doctor since the medications they use to treat UTIs aren't good to keep taking and can become less effective on your body over time. I had chronic UTIs for 6 months and finally went to a specialist that let me know I was being over-treated (i.e. Normal bacteria was present in urine sample but I had pain symptoms so they prescribed antibiotics) but that I might just need to give it time without sex or antibiotics to level out. I ended up finding that vitamin c supplements for a few months helped better that d-mannose (cranberry supplement).
