Uk people?

Anyone in the uk on here? Just needing some advice how things work from now! I am 6 weeks 6 days aprox.. what do i do next? I went to see the nurse who said the midwife will ring me and that is the only information i got. They didn't test me as they said the tests we use are better than theirs.. So?!

The midwife will get in touch with you and book an appointment for you between 8 and 10 weeks depending on what area you are from. She will talk to you about your family history, your health etc. Take a load of blood tests and talk you through dos and donts.  She will answer any questions you have. She will put you through for your 12 week scan and youll get a letter from the hospital to say when it is. Just make sure you ask her anything you are worried about. That's what shes there for. congratulations on your exciting news :-) x

Make an appointment with the midwife (I would chase them) and they will talk through everything. First appointment will be medical history, height, weight, BP, urine dip test and maybe bloods. They will then book you in for first scan which will identify due date.
