Partial rectal prolapse???

Sorry if this is a little too much information but I'm stuck:( for as long as I can remember there has been this pink fleshy piece hanging from my butthole. It never goes away. I've done some research and it may be a rectal prolapse but I'm not sure. I'm SO nervous and way to embarrassed to go see a doctor?? I rarely have sex because I'm so self conscious about it and I want it to be gone.

Remember that a doctor sees about 10-20 patients a day. Most patients have something they find embarrassing to show their doctor. A doctor is a trained professional who has seen almost everything. 
Definitely try and get it checked out by a doctor, that may make you more comfortable with sex as well

Could just be a skin tag or a prolapse but either way you need it checked.
May even be possible to keep underwear on when the doctor looks and they can just move it to the side, ask for a female doctor and even request a chaperone (normally another doctor/nurse) if you're nervous.

You should see a doctor!! It's very important especially if it is a rectal prolapse. If it's partial it might fully prolapse? My mother had a partial uterine prolapse and she left it being too embarrassed and keep coming up with excuses. They had to fully remove her uterus because she waited to long to fix the issue.
