Problems

So, I don't see my boyfriend often, every 6 months let's say. I saw him yesterday and we had a bit of fun, however the last few times I'v been with him, and 'having fun' it's been less pleasurable and more, painful. Not just sex but, when we are just messing around, he can sometimes really hurt me. Even when playin with my breasts. What should I do, tell him? But how?
