Need advice ASAP

My boyfriend who I've been with since last July, I think cheated on me. He told me he was on the lake already (ice fishing) and then 20 mins later I passed him with another girl in his truck. He told me he forgot bait and went back to town and she asked for a ride because her car broke down. He wouldn't answer my phone calls but eventually texted me back and now after he told me his version of the story he still won't talk on the phone with me but will text me...did he cheat? Am I overreacting? Or should I be worried?
