When did you use the "L" word?

I feel a tad bit childish but after breaking up with my long term boyfriend and now dating my best friend...I feel totally out of my element since I've been out of the game so long. I feel ready to say it, but is there a timeline to wait? It's been officially 3 months, but this relationship started awhile back. So when did you say it? How? Help!

Say it whenever you feel is the right time, so many times I'd look at my boyfriend before we said it and I'd just think, "oh my gosh, I love him", I never said it though, I was afraid of his response but after he said it and we started talking about it I learned that he would do the same, he'd think about telling me all the time and was just too afraid.

Every one is different, every relationship is different. Some people make the mistake of saying I love you when it's just lust. Me and my partner were together 3 months when we said it, he said it first. Don't be taken back if you say it first and he doesn't say it back or whatever. People fall in love at different times. There is no time scale.

My man said it when we were making out on my bed he said "I think I'm in love with you" I didn't say it back I just said awe I was scared but I said it the next day after we had sex 😂 so it was the first week into our relationship...
