Comfy breastfeeding in a glider chair?

Question

Does anyone breastfeed in a glider chair? I worry that the arm rests look quite high and might make breastfeeding difficult due to issues of where baby’s legs are meant to go

I just breastfed in bed, on the sofa, standing up, in the bathroom, in the kitchen and just about anywhere else quiet.. I really only rocked or glided when I was settling her down when she'd be colicky or trying to go back to sleep

Nope. I don’t find them comfortable and mine was a waste of money. 😔

I nursed my son in a glider no problem.
This time around I got more of a rocking lazy boy. Cuz I would often fall asleep in the glider and wanted something more comfortable on my back. But other than that... Totally worked great. I used a boppy as well to support baby.

We bought a small recliner... Best investment. Nursed in it 90% of the time and we will use it after. Sorry it doesn't help much but I found recliners more comfortable for nursing.

I literally had this same chair and didn’t use it once. It was just easier for me personally to sit in a kitchen chair or on the couch or even in bed.

No it wasn’t comfortable at all... it was okay at first but then as baby gets bigger it gets awkward because it’s so narrow and the armrests get in the way.

I would suggest an actual recliner chair.  I used a glider for my first and can’t wait to get a recliner for this upcoming one just because of the comfortable factor that the glider was not.

Not comfy as baby gets older. Legs stop fitting and you have to sit diagonally, which jams the arms into your back. Your so sleep deprived that you end up sleeping like that and it’s awful in the morning.

Not comfortable at all and not compatible with nursing whatsoever. We bought a small recliner for a friend and it was soooo much better.
