Need help advice induce or not?

So I have been having contractions non stop since yesterday afternoon been to triage and they sent me to birthing centre but birthing centre said baby’s position is back to back and I need to try and get baby to reposition I am doing the positions been told to do but also still have contractions every hour and at the top of my cervix is thinning out but not inside is soft.

I am 38 plus weeks and due next week

Can I ask to be induced as the pain is constant and can barely sleep my mum says I should just wait naturally but my body can’t any longer
