Is rib pain normal? I was under the impression rib pain was normal even at 17 weeks however when I saw the birthing team yesterday they want to refer me for a chest x ray and v/q scan to check for blood clots. I believe this is because my mum has had a blood clot in the last year but hers was not a DVT, it was a superficial blood clot which is not hereditary. I don’t want to put baby and myself through unnecessary risk by going for the scans when I feel fine, has anyone got any advice or similar situation? Thank you
