Miscarried fetus or blood clot?

Question

Long story short i tested positive and today was bleeding heavily with cramps but was no sign of the fetus. I just wiped and there's a picture below of what was there. I'm aware it looks like a blood clot but it was rock hard and my cramps felt *slightly* better afterwards. Do you think it could be the fetus??

The two parts where kind of attached to eachother by the weird stringy blood you can see.

A lot of people don't actually realise how common a bleed can be while pregnant and also don't tend to realise how much of a vascular time pregnancy is in every woman. It could just be a breakthrough bleed? The loss you show in your pictures looks just like blood clots to me. I've recently lost twins 2 weeks apart and I actually saw each of them and it looked surprisingly different to what you are showing. I'm not saying that you should rule out a miscarriage but don't rule it in until you have been scanned at the EPU. My advice to you is to take it as easy as you can and look after yourself even more if possible. Stay neutral minded for now. Get some professional insight and take it from there. there's no quarto really tell...if you just tested positive, everything was super small. Even when I miscarried at 5w4d, I had a lot of clots, but nothing looked like the tissue I've seen in later miscarriages. All I had then was a couple of  golfball sized clots. I'm so sorry. I hate that you even have to ask.
