Do you use gloves when changing a poo nappy?

Okay so I work in a daycare where we’re required to wear gloves but I kind of assumed that parents weren’t that fussed about it when it came to their own child, until I spoke to a parent today about stocking up on them for her second child due soon, so I thought I’d ask you wonderful lot, do you use gloves when changing a poopy nappy?

No that’s super weird. It makes sense for daycare workers but not parents. Buuuut. She might have a germ thing which would also make sense.

I had to when my son was in the nicu as part of their protocol but otherwise no, I wash my hands after or at the very least, use hand sanitizer.

I suffer from contamination OCD and I've never used a glove to change my childs diaper. I dont think it's common practice to use gloves with your own kiddo.

I could see wearing gloves when changing a poo diaper so that way when you put on cream youre not stuck with cream all over your hands and it’s easier to get rid of than a butt spatula.

If it’s a crazy messy diaper where crap is all over, I use gloves 😂
I think I’ve only done it 3x in the 15 months of my sons life
