TTC and my period is late and no PMS Symptoms took a test and got negative result

Hi I am TTC and my AF was due on Tuesay and I am always very regular and glow always predicts the right time I get it and I just took a clear blue pregnancy test and got a negative result it came up so fast as well. it wasn't a strong smelling pee or anything and it is late in the evening maybe the Hcg is too weak after peeing loads today already. will try again in the morning. has this happened to anyone else and then later got a positive result? Thanks
