Would you let your 3 year old watch Harry Potter?

It's been my daughters absolute favorite movie since she was 2.5. She's seen the first three and always wants to watch them. I don't think it's bad, but I know a lot of people would disagree. If you wouldn't let them watch it, what is your reasoning?

I let my 2 year old watch scary movies. As long as she likes it, who cares? Its not like you’re letting your kid watch a porno

Why not? I would always watch Poltergiest at 3 years old and I turned out perfectly fine! 😆

it's your kiddo, you do what you see fit.
I'm ok with somethings, you can't hide every scary thing from them, or they can't handle anything when they get older (I have a 5 year old nephew like this, he was scared of cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2.... the burger spider thing).
I'm not going to put a horror movie on for her, but I'm also not going to fast forward through every "scary" part of every movie.

at 3,I think it's a little early. there's a lot of death, esp. parental. it might be a bit much emotionally. the Dursleys and the Quirrel scene might also be hard for her.   try the Wizard of Oz first. if she can handle that, Harry Potter might be fine
