Best UK formula??

Question

Due September 2nd and thinking about formula since there are so many options, I am planning on formula feeding and looking for recommendations on which brands are good/to avoid and why?

There was a documentary in the UK which proved that supermarket own brand formulas are just as good nutritionally in terms of equality of ingredients as the big name brands. For that reason i bought sainaburys own brand. It was a channel 4 dispatches doc...google it!

I did a ton of research on this and decided I wanted to import either Holle or Hipp Organic Combiotic formula from The UK. Holle is a bit harder to find so ended up checking 2 suitcases full of Hipp (I live in the US.) Organic formula is SO much cheaper in the UK (9 pounds for 800g) vs $40-50 dollars in the US.

I plan on using sma, a few close friends of mine use sma and Aptamil and havent had any problems. X

When we had to supplement with formula we wanted one without soy or tons of sugar. We went with lebeswert which I believe is made in Germany. We live in the USA and they shipped it here no issues. Always fast. You might look into that one. I've heard others like the the Holla one as well which might be made from the same company.
