Can I use this name or would it be weird?

Without wanting to start a race row, can a white couple use a name that is from gujarati/Indian origins for their baby? I really like the name Fenisha and personally think it’s a name that I love, why shouldn’t I use it. Just curious on others thoughts tho?

It's a name. You choose it because you like it. My husbands name is Greek and my name is Spanish. He's not Greek and I'm not Spanish. 🤣

Honestly? The name isn't in my personal taste. 
However, if you and your partner like it, it doesnt really matter what culture it originates from. As long as you do so respectfully it is cultural APPRECIATION and not appropriation.

There’s nothing wrong with using another cultures name IMO just make sure you aren’t appropriating the culture.
