So I've always known my SO isn't one for marriage because of his parents splitting up. So I've got used to us always being boyfriend and girlfriend and honestly it didn't bother me because my parents were never married, so it's not a big deal to me.

However we were messing around playing the agreement game (taking it in turns saying random things and the other agreeing no matter what was being said) and one of his was that he was gonna marry me. We laughed about it and then he leant in and whispered that he meant it and that he'd been thinking a lot and that maybe marriage was for him after all, if it was to me.

This made my heart melt because this is the guy that I want to grow old with regardless of if we're married or not.

Sorry just had to post this as it made my day so much better and there's been so many depressing posts on here lately
