Skipping my period

So my bf and I are supposed to be going to the cabin this weekend & I'm supposed to get my period & really don't want to cause I would like to have mess-free sex 😂 Can I just skip the placebo week and go straight onto my next package?? This would be my 5th or 6th package so I've been on it for a while already! Are there any side effects to skipping period week?
