GUYS, I can’t cope with this situation 😂

So I’m meeting a guy tomorrow for a first date, we’ve only talked for a couple of weeks, but I feel a really natural connection and he does too. Only thing is, I’ve been utterly terrified to tell him that I have herpes, since we have talked about things of an intimate nature.

So we’re chatting about how excited we are to meet tomorrow, and the conversation gets deep, and I really want to segway into the topic so that he still has the chance to bail if he wanted. He’s insistent on knowing what’s up so I eventually tell him, to which he replies “I’ve also recently been diagnosed with HSV2 too”.

I proceeded to break down into tears because it’s the first guy I’ve talked to that understands, and he also is even more excited to meet since we finally don’t have to worry about being judged.
