Trying to conceive

Me and my partner are coming up to a year of trying for a baby, yesterday we spoke about it after seeing literally everyone is announcing they’re pregnant and he got so upset telling me how it’s so disheartening, I have booked an appointment at the end of the month to hopefully get some tests done at the doctors to see if there is something wrong, has anyone got any advice on how they got pregnant maybe? I’m using OPK done it for a month straight twice a day and didn’t ovulate and it’s got me really down thinking I am a women and that’s one this I should be able to do, ovulate and carry a baby, I know there are other people that have been trying a lot long than me but wow how frustrating it is? Some people literally sneeze and get pregnant!
