Wives identifying themselves by their husband’s occupation

Am I the only one who finds this ridiculous? It’s such an attention seeking behavior. It’s always “police wife”, “army wife”, “fire wife” etc. All careers that get “thanks for your service”. I feel like these women want the praise that their husband’s get. It’s not a badge of honor. 😂. You don’t see the wives of teachers, bus drivers, funeral directors, politicians etc labeling themselves by their husband’s careers. Attention seeking behavior isn’t cute. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Just because a man’s job is stressful doesn’t mean a wife is defined by it 🙄.

For those trying to use danger as the justification for defining yourself by your husband’s career prepare for your “logic” to be destroyed.

Signed-A woman who’s husband is a firefighter paramedic, but doesn’t define herself by her husbands success. 👍🏻

Also @B, I DO have a job to be proud of, which is why I don’t need to claim my husband’s success. I have my own. Lol
