My lb is almost 5 months.

He has always been pretty fussy and would only sit contently for maybe half hour or so. But the last few weeks it seems to have shortened right down to only sbout 10 mins. I can’t get anything done as he constantly needs my attention or a cuddle, he will only fall asleep on me and most of the tine he will wake as soon as I try to put him down.

I’m wondering if I am maybe doing something wrong? I don’t mind leaving him to cry for maybe 5 minutes but then I’ll pick him up.

He used to sleep through the night and then I guess the 4 month sleep regression hit and he wakes several times in the night just for a cuddle.

My partner says I give in to him too quickly and baby knows what he is doing but I think he is too young for me to not give him the cuddles he wants.

Not sure if I should try to do something to make him less fussy and needy or just carry on and ride it out. I have a messy house constantly and now with trying to homeschool my 8 year old it is difficult.
