Polyamory exists, so definitely, 
But my rule is, focus on the relationship you are actually in. Don't allow yourself to be tempted by a new person, because they haven't earned their keep like your partner has & I think when agreeing to relationships, we have a duty not to let an outside party interfere.  The relationship deserves its fair chance without outside influence. 
It's ok to like or love other people, it isn't ok to focus on it or indulge in it or make it known by actions/like flirt directly or anything like that. Its a normal thing to go through, even if it scares the shit out of monogamous ppl 🙃
