Hey so I’m on daily suppressants for HSV2 (valacyclovir). I had sex last night (it was amazing) with a friend with benefits who is aware that I have herpes. I woke up this morning with the tingling sensation in my thigh and butt that I usually get before an outbreak, I’m starting to panic that I may have been shedding whilst me and him had sex, I don’t know how I’d cope if I knew I’d given it to somebody 😞 can anybody put my mind at ease? Will the suppressants still reduce the risk despite my symptoms??
