Help - early first scan worries

Emma

We had our early first scan today - first day of last menstruation was 17th January and we found out today I'm actually 5 weeks and 6 days.. so super early!

The size is perfect, there's a good cyst providing all needed hormones, gestational sac

is there, yolk sac is there, etc, etc, but the sonographer mentioned the heartbeat was slow. She didn't actually say what it was, but that it was the same as mine - when I looked at my Fitbit afterwards mine was 80bpm. She said we needed to come back next week, to ensure everything was okay but her demeanour wasn't exactly reassuring. As we went to leave, she said she didn't actually normally see people less than 6 weeks. After actually looking at our own research, the normal heart rate for 5 weeks is between 80-110bpm.. and we were actually lucky to be able to even see a heartbeat at all.. as a lot of people won't see it til beyond 7/8 weeks.. so I'm now feeling crap and completely confused! Can anyone provide any clarity at all? TIA 🙏
