Am I wasting my time?

Hey...so I told my friend that I really liked him but he didnt say it back. We have this kind of relationship where we tell each other everything and we are the best of friends. Yes, we do flirt but I dont see this going anywhere.  Any advice?

Forget about him and actively date other people. No one is perfect but be with someone who wants you just as much as you want then. Otherwise, it's a dead end

I am in same situation .. He did say he like me back but he has feelings for a girl he recently ended having a relationship with her ( they were never bf and gf they just dated) he has grabbed my hand a few times .. Always invites me out to dinner and sends me good morning text but yet I started dating someone else because I don't want to put pressure in our friendship .

See other people. Or express interest elsewhere. If he does feel like you're more than a friend, sometimes dudes need that stupid jealousy thing to kick in.

My boyfriend was that way at first... I toldhim how I felt and he wasn't interested in a relationship. I said it hurt to be friends when i wanted more,  so I didn't talk to him for two weeks. In that time, i went out with a guy a few times. Bumped into my friend at work and told him I was sort of seeing someone else and all the sudden it was, "wait, no, she's MY dinner date and I call her every morning and night and who the hell does this guy think he is?!" He left sappy voicemails and sent cheesy videos and eventually said "I love you, pick me."

Not saying that's the best idea or that the same thing will happen but... If he just wants friendship, then he should be ok with you dating other guys. If he's not, maybe that'll be what it takes for him to see (read this next part like Taylor Swift) you belong with meeeeeee ?
